Terms of sale and licence – international edition
These terms apply to licences bought at tillpocket.store by businesses outside the Czech Republic. They are written in English; translations of the website are for convenience only and the English text of these terms prevails. Czech businesses buy the Czech edition at tillpocket.cz under its own terms.
1. Seller
Ing. Pavel Kantor, sole trader, Tomkova 3166/1, 150 00 Praha 5 – Smíchov, Czech Republic, company ID 48125598, not VAT registered. Contact: [email protected].
2. Subject
A non-exclusive licence to use the TillPocket web application (point-of-sale software), international edition, on the agreed number of devices, bound to the buyer’s country and business ID. The licence is lifetime and can’t be moved to another business.
3. Price and payment
Prices per the current price list at tillpocket.store, in Czech koruna (CZK), final (the seller is not VAT registered). Any currency conversion is done by the buyer’s card issuer. Where the buyer’s country charges import VAT, sales tax or similar on services bought from abroad (e.g. reverse charge), the buyer accounts for it. Payment in advance by card via Stripe. The licence is delivered by e-mail after payment.
4. Updates
The licence includes 1 year of updates from purchase. Security fixes are provided to all licences without time limit. After updates end, the software keeps working in the version available on that date. Updates can be renewed for another year at any time per the price list.
5. Local regulations – the buyer’s responsibility
The international edition is one generic product for all countries. The seller does not check, and makes no representation, that the software meets the requirements of the buyer’s country, in particular rules on fiscal or certified cash registers, electronic sales reporting, tax, invoice and receipt content, record keeping and data protection. Features specific to Czech law (e.g. EET) are not available in this edition. The buyer alone is responsible for complying with local regulations and for checking, before use, whether the software may be used in their business; the seller accepts no liability for any non-compliance, fines or other consequences.
6. Trial
14 days free, 1 device, once per business. Afterwards data can be viewed and exported, no new documents can be issued. Buying a licence for the same business converts the trial into a full licence.
7. Businesses only
The licence is sold only to businesses for their business; the buyer confirms this and gives their business ID. Consumer protection rules, including the right of withdrawal, don’t apply. A free trial is available before purchase.
8. Liability
The software is provided as is; the seller is not liable for lost profit or for data the buyer did not back up. The seller’s liability is limited to the price paid for the licence, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Personal data in the till
The buyer processes the data in the till (documents, customers) as controller. With sync switched on, the seller stores this data for the buyer only in encrypted form, without access to the key; to that extent the seller is a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Data processing by the seller: privacy.
10. Final provisions
Governed by Czech law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Disputes go to the courts of the Czech Republic. Effective from [date].
